Waterlooville Library secured

22nd March will see Amiri starting work on the £541k refurbishment of Waterlooville Library for Hampshire County Council. Work is due to be complete on this busy local learning resource centre in the Summer.
Cobham House, Twyford

A quiet February Sunday saw Amiri Construction hosting Red Watch from Winchester as Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service took advantage of the empty property at Cobham House to carry out extensive training in propping, shoring, controlled demolition and search and recovery. Two days later and the building was gone to make way for a fabulous new house being built for private clients. The house is designed to rigorous environmental and energy performance standards and will be completed for the owners to enjoy Christmas.
Poole Learning Support Centre

The 1st March sees Amiri Construction starting work on the new Learning Support Centre for the Borough of Poole. On the site of the old Rossmore Library, the £1.4m project will provide the community with a state of the art facility to help with learning.

We are delighted to have received another "Performance Beyond Compliance" award from the Considerate Constructors Scheme. This time it was for Mark Formaggia and the team at Southampton Solent University and their successful delivery of £500k of refurbishment work during the summer break.
Another for Hampshire County!

We are delighted to have won another project for Hampshire County Council. We will be building the new ASLF centre at The Hurst Community College, Basingstoke. Work will start at the end of September and will last for 26 weeks and the contract sum is £580k. This will be the second Hampshire County Council project where we have worked with Selway Joyce Partnership, the Winchester based QS practice.
