Amiri Construction is committed to securing a safe working environment for all persons employed by, working under the control of, or whom tasks, operations or processes undertaken by the company may affect.
- Amiri will ensure that Health and Safety Management is sufficiently resourced, in fiscal, personnel and training terms.
- Ensure there is a positive culture towards health, safety and welfare.
- Operate to the highest industry health and safety standards with legal compliance as the minimum requirement.
- Target improvement in health and safety performance by carrying out regular inspection and audits.
- Provide access to health and safety advice through the effective use of qualified Health and Safety consultants and advisors.
- Set high standards for safe working procedures and guidance within the Company Controls and Procedures Manual.
- Provide information, instruction and the relevant training to allow the development of our employees in respect of current Health and Safety requirements.
- Consult, at all levels, with all those involved in our work operations on health and safety matters and seek continuous improvement to our safety performance.
- Identify hazards, assess and control risks to safety and health which employees and others may be exposed.
- Safe Working Instructions and Procedures shall at all times be prepared and presented so as to be discernible and workable to all personnel involved on a project or task.
The Managing Director respects that he has the ultimate responsibility for health and safety and will ensure it is given equal priority with all the major business objectives.
Implementation of this policy is a management responsibility through all management levels together with the participation of all employees. The policy will be reviewed annually by the Board of Directors thus ensuring that it continues to meet new business and legal requirements, and to identify areas in need of improvement. It will be revised and updated as necessary.
