Welcome to the Amiri Golf Challenge; our series of invitational golfing events run throughout the year at the Goodwood Downs Course. The Amiri Goodwood Golf Experience
As our guests you will be welcomed at the Kennels Club house, Goodwood's private club set in the superb James Wyatt 18th century building that backdrops the courses. We begin our day with a delicious breakfast provided by the esteemed Kennels restaurant and then head for a morning of golf in the undulating Downland valleys and hills, which you may choose to ride in the iconic Goodwood golf carts, the Woodies. Returning to The Kennels clubhouse around lunchtime to freshen up at the locker rooms, we celebrate achievements both big and small over a divine lunch. It's a friendly and social morning that is as productive for business as it is fun and full of banter whilst offering an outstanding golf experience in a refreshing and relaxing environment.
Format
18 holes of golf scored using the Stapleford system. Your score will be entered into the Amiri Leader Board for 2011. At the end of the year the highest scoring guest from each round will be invited back for a "Champion of Champions" 18 hole to decide the overall winner.
Where
Owned by the Earl of March and also world famed for it's car and horse racing with major events such as the Festival of Speed, Goodwood is a stunning venue. It is located just outside Chichester, only 60 miles from London, 30 miles from Brighton and Southampton.
