Our second project for this client saw us converting of an old school building to provide townhouses and apartments, including key worker accommodation.
Close proximity to the remaining part of the special-care school and the location in a prestigious residential area meant that consideration had to be taken with regard to not disrupting the day-to-day activities of the staff and students and local residents during the course of construction.
The nature of the refurbishment and the condition of the building meant that our flexible approach to both design changes and construction requirements was essential to ensure high quality and decent progress was maintained.
