Two days later and the building was gone to make way for a fabulous new house being built for private clients. We are delighted to have won another project for Hampshire County Council. We will be building the new ASLF centre at The Hurst Community College, Basingstoke. Work will start at the end of September and will last for 26 weeks and the contract sum is £580k. Amiri are celebrating their most successful month ever for awards with four projects being secured in the last four weeks. The first two are the £1.5m extension of a residential care home in Bedhampton and the £300k refurbishment of another residential care home in Selsey, both for the Cheer Health Group. The third is a £1.3m fit-out and refurbishment of offices in Newbury for West Berkshire District Council and the last is a luxury home on the Sandbanks peninsula, Poole.
