Site Manager

Responsibility

Alex is responsible for the management and control of the onsite building works from start to finish.

Experience

Alex joined Amiri Construction in early 2008 on his return from New Zealand where he spent time as a Site Manager for two main contractors.

His first project for Amiri was taking over from a Site Manager with health issues and overseeing the delivery for the completion of the £2.0m design and build of Station Road, Ash Vale.

Alex next project was the very fast-track refurbishment of the science laboratories at Cranbourne Business and Enterprise College in Basingstoke. This was our first project for Hampshire County Council and, as usual, it came with all the pressures of completing on time to ensure that students returning for the new academic year had facilities to learn in! Alex delivered a very good scheme on time and budget, safely and to a high standard.

He is currently working at Reliant Close where he is fitting out one of the units that we previously refurbished.

Personal

Alex lives in Southampton and, having trained in Estate Management before his move into construction, enjoys the countryside and outdoor pursuits.
