Responsibility

David is responsible for the procurement of all work from marketing stage through to receipt of order.

In many instances, for example D&B and partnering projects, he will remain involved beyond this point, in order to facilitate smooth progression between pre and post construction.

Experience

David has now worked in an estimating capacity in contracting on the south coast for almost twenty years.

He has comprehensive experience of procuring a wide-ranging nature and extent of work, through various combinations of traditional/D&B and tendering/partnering/negotiation.

He consistently applies his skills to great effect when afforded the opportunity to be involved in a project earlier than traditional tendering would allow, often resulting in significant benefit to the net build cost.

Dave has superb vision and is often the initiator of new ideas and methods of work. His value engineering mindset allows Amiri to offer many alternatives to meet a compliant bid.

Personal

David lives in Waterlooville with his wife and four children. He is a keen 5-a-side footballer and enjoys watching his two sons play youth football. He is also keen on music.

He is also a season ticket holder at Portsmouth Football Club, meaning he is able to regularly update some of his south coast colleagues on life in the Premiership!
