Responsibility

John is responsible for the overall commercial management of the projects and is committed to maintaining budgets and concluding accounts promptly with no surprises.

Experience

John has over 20 years experience in quantity surveying and has worked on a wide range of projects, including healthcare, residential, educational and commercial. Much of his recent work has been in the Bournemouth and Poole conurbation helping clients deliver a variety of projects including luxury houses in sensitive residential areas.

John has worked on healthcare projects at both the Royal Christchurch and Royal Bournemouth Hospitals. He has also spent a number of years working for a specialist residential contractor providing affordable, sheltered and supported living accommodation.

His open book style of cost control is respected by the employers agent and his willingness to work to key dates and offer prompt costing for change proposals. John doesn’t spring any surprises on his account management and has a strong personality to tell people as it is!

He is a great follower of the Amiri Culture of Managing the works looking Forward (procurement) rather than historic Management (Measuring old accounts).

John has worked with the team for a number of years and is highly regarded amongst his peer group.

Personal

John lives in Bournemouth with his wife and two young children. In his limited spare time he enjoys golf and watching and playing football and cricket.
