Rob is responsible for the overall commercial management of the projects and is committed to maintaining budgets and concluding accounts promptly with no surprises.
Rob joined the construction industry straight from getting his degree in 2002. Having started as a Trainee Site Manager he then made the move across to Quantity Surveying and has never looked back! We are delighted that having begun his career with Kevin Lendon, Dave Moore and the team, he returned to work with us when Amiri was able to offer him a role.
Having matured as a Surveyor within the team Robis a great follower of the Amiri Culture of Managing the works looking Forward (procurement) rather than historic Management (Measuring old accounts).
His experience is excellent with projects ranging in size from £1.0m up to £6.5m and in most sectors. He has a particularly strong background in working on Design and Build schemes and has experience of two schools, three care homes and four industrial projects procured in this manner.
Rob has been quick to establish himself at Amiri Construction and is the Quantity Surveyor on the £2.6m design and build of an Emmaus Community in Winchester, the £800k refurbishment and first floor extension at Elizabeth Foundation, Queen Alexandra Hospital and the £1.1m refurbishment of two office buildings in Farnham. He also oversaw the very quick refurbishment of Unit 6/7 at Hedge End Trade Park.
Rob lives in Southampton with his wife and is expecting his first child. In his spare time he enjoys running and playing in a football team.
